Kathrin Heuer

Kathrin Heuer is a trained theater teacher and actress. She has been involved in many different theater projects since 2003. Among other things, she has directed TUSCH theater productions and played a leading role in the cultural education project IMPULS-Musiktheater-Tanz at the Staatstheater Stuttgart. At the Berlin State Opera Unter den Linden, she directed the children’s opera, where she was able to deepen her choreographic and musical skills.

In 2010, she completed a one-year acting seminar at the Chekhov Studio in Berlin and works as a freelance actress throughout Germany. In her work, be it acting or theater pedagogy, she repeatedly encountered the Michael Chekhov Method until she decided to complete the teacher program (MCIA Teacher Certification) at the Michael Chekhov International Academy Berlin in 2018. Since then, she has been offering open acting classes for performing artists and interested parties.

In addition, the Chekhov technique can be deepened in her thematic workshops. In her course formats, the Chekhov tools are applied scenically, e.g. in audition roles, monologues, dialogues and other theatrical means of expression.
